Daily Income & Expense Manager

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 30 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LiteBracket ("we", "us") handles information in the Daily Income & Expense Manager Android app (package budget.planner.expensetracker, the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Data stored on your device

The transactions, categories, accounts, budgets, notes, receipt photos and settings you enter (including your optional PIN) are stored locally in a database on your device. We do not upload this financial data to our servers, and we cannot see it.

2. Google Sign-In and Google Drive backup

Signing in with Google is optional and is only needed to use Google Drive backup and restore. When you sign in, Google shares your basic profile information (name, email address and profile picture) with the App. The App uses your email address to identify the connected account and to access your Google Drive. This information stays on your device.

If you choose to back up, the App requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission. This only lets the App create, read and update files that the App itself created in your Google Drive. The App cannot see or access any other files in your Drive. The App uses this access only to:

Your backup goes directly from your device to your Google Drive. We do not receive, store or have access to it. You can delete it at any time from Google Drive, and you can revoke the App's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Limited Use. The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, transfer it to third parties, or use it to train AI or machine learning models.

3. Analytics and crash reports

We use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to fix crashes. These services may collect device information (such as model, OS version and app version), app interaction events, crash logs and a device or installation identifier. They do not include the financial data you enter. See Firebase privacy information.

4. Notifications

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging and local reminders to send notifications. Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a device token to deliver messages. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

5. Feedback

If you send feedback from within the App, we store your message along with your country, selected currency, app version and notification token in Google Cloud Firestore so we can review it and improve the App.

6. Currency conversion

When you convert between currencies, the App sends the two currency codes to the exchangerate.host service to fetch the exchange rate. No personal or financial data is sent.

7. Device permissions

8. Advertising and sale of data

The App shows no ads. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.

9. Data retention and deletion

Data on your device stays until you delete it in the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. Backups in your Google Drive stay until you delete them from Drive. To ask us to delete feedback you sent, email us at the address below.

10. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
